Ceramics gallery

Seven glazed pieces on the worktable of a generated loft: point at one and it lifts, turns and shows its card.

A capture of the project running in Graspable's emulated headset. A bright brick loft seen from the headset: seven ceramic pieces on a long wooden worktable, a cobalt blue moon jar lifted above the table with a dark card beside it giving its glaze, its size of 28 by 27 centimetres and a price of 510 euros, the other pieces dimmed, a controller pointing at the jar and a small sign reading Seven pieces, glazed and fired.

The request, word for word

This is the text that was sent to the agent to start the project. Nothing was edited for this page.

Turn the worktable into a small ceramics gallery. Replace the three example pieces with seven glazed pieces standing on the worktable in a considered arrangement, not a straight row: a tall celadon bottle vase, a wide speckled stoneware bowl, a cobalt blue moon jar, a small tenmoku tea bowl, a white porcelain pitcher with a handle, a terracotta amphora with two handles, and a matt black cylinder vase. Each must have its own true shape turned on a wheel (lathe profiles with a foot ring, a lip and real wall thickness where you can see inside), and a glaze that looks like fired ceramic: glossy with soft highlights from the loft's windows, speckles, drips or a darker rim where the glaze would break, drawn in code. They must stand exactly on the table top with a soft contact shadow, lit with the loft's own light so they belong in the picture. When I point at a piece and pull the trigger (click on the desktop), it lifts ten centimetres, turns slowly, and a card appears next to it with its name, the glaze, the size in centimetres and a price; the other pieces dim slightly. Pointing at another piece moves the card there; choosing the same piece again puts it down. A small sign at the front edge of the table says "Seven pieces, glazed and fired" and "Point at a piece". Cards are dark plates with warm white text that I can read from two metres and that always face me. Start me standing in front of the table, close enough to see the glazes. It has to work in VR in the emulated headset with the controllers and on the desktop with the mouse.

How it went

Runs
2 runs: the request above, then one follow-up request. A run ends only when the project builds and loads in a real browser without errors.
Started from
The Splat World template: Stand inside a photorealistic generated place at real scale, look around, teleport, and add your own things to it.
Notes and credits
World generated with World Labs Marble. The first run stopped half way at a usage limit and left the project unable to build; the second request repaired and finished it. The pieces that are not chosen dim more than slightly. AI: Graspable agent (first run), Claude Code (second).
