A small maintenance companion brings a sleeping observatory back to life. This one-minute short film was built as an editable 3D scene in Graspable, with original geometry, animation and music.
Tap Play film to watch the directed shots. On iPhone, tap Move phone and allow motion access, then turn your phone to look around. Recenter faces the current shot; Use touch switches to dragging. A compatible WebXR headset can enter the observatory in VR.
Download 2D film saves the finished MP4. The interactive scene lets you look in every direction; the downloadable MP4 is the framed 2D version. Continue in Graspable to edit the scene and animation take.
Where it runs
It runs in a browser and in a headset, at the-last-light.graspable.cloud. Nothing needs to be installed.
