Cannonballs on a pirate deck

On the deck of a generated pirate ship, throw cannonballs at green bottles on the barrels: ten points each, three rounds, a bell at the end.

A capture of the project running in Graspable's emulated headset. The main deck of a wooden pirate ship at golden hour: a mast with rigging, a wooden scoreboard hanging on ropes reading Score 10, Round 1 of 3, Time 29, two barrels with green bottles on top, calm water and cliffs beyond the rail.

The request, word for word

This is the text that was sent to the agent to start the project. Nothing was edited for this page.

Move the game somewhere else. Generate a new world, standard size: the main deck of an old wooden pirate ship moored in a rocky cove at golden hour. Worn deck planks, the mast and rigging, coiled ropes, barrels and crates, a ship's wheel on the raised deck behind, lanterns, calm water and cliffs beyond the rail, warm low sun. Use it instead of the tavern. Then set up the game on that deck: I stand on the deck with a rack of iron cannonballs at my right hand. Six green glass bottles stand on top of two barrels about three metres in front of me, and three more on a crate further back. I grab a cannonball and throw it (on the desktop: click to throw). A bottle that is knocked over or off is worth 10 points, the ones at the back 25. There are three rounds of 30 seconds; each round sets the bottles up again a little further away. A wooden scoreboard hanging near the mast shows score, round and time left, and at the end my total and a "Play again" button. Cannonballs must be heavy and thud on the planks, bottles clink when hit, a bell rings at the end of a round (all sounds made in code). Look at the generated deck first and put the barrels, the crate, the rack and the scoreboard on its real surfaces, not floating and not inside things. The bottles should look like real glass (dark green, slightly see-through, a highlight from the sun) and the cannonballs like rough cast iron. It has to work in VR in the emulated headset with the controllers and on the desktop with the mouse.

How it went

Runs
2 runs: the request above, then one follow-up request. A run ends only when the project builds and loads in a real browser without errors.
Started from
The World Game template: A game inside a generated place: throw balls that bounce off the real room, knock mugs off the bar, ring the targets, keep score.
Notes and credits
World generated with World Labs Marble. The second request replaced plain cylinders with staved barrels, made the bottles and the scoreboard larger and added a Start plate; the bottles are still small from where you stand and the clock already runs before Start. AI: Graspable agent.
