Meta glasses app template

What you start with

Expo app for Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta and Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, in a Vite project. It is ordinary code in a folder on your computer: read it, edit it, keep it.

Where it runs

Any WebXR browser, such as Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro, and a flat screen with mouse or touch. The app has an emulated headset to try it before you put one on.

Requests to try

Start a project from this template and send one of these as it is, or change it to what you have in mind.

  • A cooking assistant: when I say "next step" the glasses show the next step of a recipe I paste, with a timer on the display when a step has one.
  • A plant scout: every ten seconds take a photo from the stream, ask a vision model what plant it is, and show the name and one care tip on the phone.
  • A workout counter: count my push-ups from the motion data, say the count out loud on the phone every five, and show the total on the display.
  • A reading helper: when I press the capture button, take a high-quality photo, read the text in it on the phone and show it large, with a Read aloud button.
  • A teleprompter: paste a speech; the display shows it a few lines at a time and a swipe forward on the temple advances it.

How a run ends

The agent edits the project on your computer, and a run ends only when it builds and loads in a real browser. How templates work
