Greenhouse tour

A five-stop walk through a generated Victorian greenhouse at dusk: Next takes you to the next stop and its plate.

A capture of the project running in Graspable's emulated headset. Inside a glass greenhouse at dusk, standing by long wooden tables of terracotta pots: a dark tour plate titled Terracotta pot tables with two lines of text and Back and Next buttons, a controller pointing at Next, and a small lantern info point on the table.

The request, word for word

This is the text that was sent to the agent to start the project. Nothing was edited for this page.

Take me somewhere else. Generate a new world, standard size: the inside of a Victorian glass greenhouse used as a potting workshop, at dusk. White iron frame and glass roof, terracotta pots and ferns on long wooden benches, a brick floor path down the middle, a potting table with tools, a stone water basin, an old armchair in a corner, warm lantern light against the blue evening sky outside. Use it instead of the loft. Then make it a guided tour with five stops that I walk between: the potting table, the fern bench, the water basin, the armchair corner and the door. Look at the generated place first and put each stop where that thing really is; if one of them is not there, pick what is there instead and name it truthfully. Each stop has a title, two short lines about what I am looking at, and a Next button; the tour panel shows "Stop 2 of 5" and the last stop offers "Start again". Also add three info points away from the tour path that open when I point at them and pull the trigger (click on the desktop). Plates and text must be easy to read in the dusk light: dark plates, warm white text, large enough to read from three metres, never hidden inside benches or walls. Start me at the entrance facing down the path. It has to work in VR in the emulated headset with the controllers (thumbstick to walk, trigger to choose) and on the desktop with mouse and keys.

How it went

Runs
2 runs: the request above, then one follow-up request. A run ends only when the project builds and loads in a real browser without errors.
Started from
The World Explorer template: Walk through a generated place as if it were solid: floors hold you, walls and furniture stop you, with info points and a guided tour.
Notes and credits
World generated with World Labs Marble. The second request tidied the start plate, re-checked the five stops against the generated place and turned the info points into lanterns; the stops are now named after what is really there. Stops are reached by a jump, not the three-second walk that was asked for, and an info lantern sits close to the Next button at the first stop. AI: Graspable agent.
