Graspable vs Lovable

Lovable is for web apps; Graspable is for 3D and XR scenes. People ask because both are "describe it and it is built". Here is where each stops.

Lovable is a browser app builder for full-stack web apps, with its own backend, hosting, custom domains and Git sync. Facts about Lovable are from its own pages, listed at the end, last checked on 3 October 2026. If something is out of date, tell us.

Choose Graspable when

you want a scene a person can step into on a headset, with the code on your computer.

Choose Lovable when

you want a web app with a database, sign-in and hosting, built and hosted in one place with nothing installed.

Side by side

What you build
GraspableA desktop app for macOS (Windows and Linux are coming). You describe a 3D or XR scene; an AI agent builds it as a real React Three Fiber and WebXR project in a folder on your computer.
LovableWeb applications only: "Lovable builds web applications" and "does not generate React Native projects". New apps use TanStack Start. No WebXR page or template was found on lovable.dev or its docs.
The AI
GraspableYour own AI account: an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter and others, a ChatGPT subscription, or Claude Code with a Claude subscription. Models come from the provider’s own list.
LovableLovable’s own: "you cannot pick a specific model for building"; no bring-your-own key.
Where it runs
GraspableOn your computer. Projects, previews, builds, keys and sign-ins stay there. A paid plan can move a project to a Cloud Agent and back.
LovableIn the browser and Lovable’s cloud: editing, preview, hosting, backend.
Checking the result
GraspableA run ends only when the project builds and loads in a real browser without errors; recorded headset sessions are replayed after every change.
LovableThe agent observes build errors and can run browser tests when asked. Nothing checks a scene in a headset.
Headsets and devices
GraspableAny browser with WebXR. The app emulates a Meta Quest 3 or Meta VR Glasses in the preview; a project opens on a Quest or an Apple Vision Pro over Wi-Fi or USB.
LovableNone documented.
Your code
GraspableOrdinary code on your disk: React, three.js, React Three Fiber, @react-three/xr. Yours, in any editor, with a version per run.
Lovable"Your apps, code, and the content you create with Lovable are yours." Two-way GitHub sync on all plans; code download on paid plans.
Price
GraspableFree to build with on your computer, on every plan. Builder $20, Pro $40, Studio $99 per seat add Cloud Agents, Fast mode, premium templates, teams and Credits (graspable.dev/pricing).
LovableFree with daily build credits; Pro from $25 a month; Business from $50 a month; Enterprise by volume (docs.lovable.dev).
Native headset apps
GraspableWeb only today: no Unity, Unreal or native headset builds.
LovableNone.

Where Lovable is the better choice

  • Database, sign-in, storage, hosting and an AI gateway in one place.
  • A mature loop for flat web apps, with a security scan on publish.
  • A free tier that needs no AI account.

Where Graspable is

  • Any XR at all: templates, an emulated headset, replayed headset tests, Quest and Vision Pro over the local network.
  • Your own AI account and a project on your disk.
  • Published apps at their own address, forkable by others.

Our take

Lovable is a strong choice for the web app it is made for, and no choice at all for XR. If the scene is the product, Graspable is the only one of the two that knows what a headset is.

Graspable is our product. The facts above are what we found; this paragraph is what we think.

Try Graspable

It is a desktop app, free with your own AI account. Describe a scene, watch it being built as a real project on your computer, and open it on your headset. See what people made and the requests behind each.
